Enrichment
Enrichment Opportunities at Boroughbridge Primary School & Nursery
At Boroughbridge Primary School & Nursery, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. We enrich our curriculum through a wide range of exciting trips, visitors, clubs and memorable experiences that help children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Every child has the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities throughout their time at school. These experiences are carefully chosen to enhance the curriculum, inspire curiosity and create lasting memories. While opportunities may vary from year to year depending on availability, children’s interests and current topics, there is always something exciting to look forward to.

Residential Visits and Sleepovers
We know how valuable residential experiences can be in building confidence, resilience and friendships.
Children in Years 5 and 6 take part in residential visits, including a coastal adventure residential where they experience a range of exciting outdoor and water-based activities.
To help prepare children for these experiences, pupils in Years 3 and 4 are invited to take part in school sleepovers. These provide a fun and supportive introduction to spending time away from home with friends in a safe and familiar environment.
