We strongly encourage parents to support their children’s learning at home. One of the most effective ways to do this is through regular reading, talking about what has been read, and spending quality time together. Activities can be simple and enjoyable—whether that’s jumping in puddles or taking part in more adventurous experiences.

For parents seeking additional guidance, we have gathered a selection of resources to support English and Maths learning. These have been organised by year group to help you find the most appropriate materials for your child.

This is not an exhaustive list, and all activities are most effective when parents engage with their children and discuss their learning together.
