Nursery Admissions
- Parental Agreement: At the start, you will be asked to complete a Parental Agreement form. It is essential that we receive this form by the deadline otherwise we may not be able to offer your child a place. A parental agreement can be emailed to you or a paper copy is are also available from the office. This agreement form will only need to be completed again if you wish to change which sessions your child attends.
- School Admission Form: You will be sent a login from our Arbor Parent Communication App. Once you receive this email, please follow the login instructions and complete all the information for your child including medical details, dietary requirements and previous school information. If your child has a SEN need or any additional needs, please add this information as a medical condition so that our SENCO / Pastoral Support Officer is aware of these.
- Birth Certificate: We will also need to see your child’s birth certificate – please bring in the original birth certificate to the office.
In Year Admissions
Sometimes children need to change school at a time other than starting in reception, transferring to a junior school or transferring to secondary school for the very first time. Some changes may be unavoidable, for example, when you move into North Yorkshire or move house, or sometimes they occur because of difficulties at your child’s current school. An in-year application can be made at any time of the year. You can apply up to a term in advance of the admission date. The online application process on the North Yorkshire County Council website will guide you and show you what year group you can apply for, according to your child’s date of birth.
